South African produced The Wild is dubbed ‘too costly to continue’ and will come to an end in March 2013. Upset?
According to M-Net, this “difficult decision” was met with the comforting knowledge that any money accumulated by The Wild will help fund other local TV productions.
M-Net director Theo Erasmus told the media that the soapies’ funding ‘could be spent on other productions that could possibly produce better ratings in a shorter period of time.’
Sigh. Another one bites the dust.
What do you think about our local talent being shut down?

I support this decision, the show was crappy anyway.

This is ridiculous, how can our local talent blossom if our shows are cancelled. I don’t support this.
