Red cabbage and roses
Have you always thought that cabbage is only for eating? Trim the stems off a few firm, good-sized red cabbages so that they stand securely. Cut a hole in the top of each one, hollow out slightly and fill with a piece of Oasis, which has been saturated with water. Add a few rosebuds and fern leaves and display in little boxes or place directly on the table.
Good idea
Soften harder stems by pressing lightly with your fingers, taking care not to bruise or damage the stem.
