I would like to know what the best age is to start sending my child to a creché/pre-school. My daughter is 2 and going to be three at the end of March.

PARENTING
It depends on the child – an only child can benefit from going earlier, and an extrovert will definitely benefit from earlier. If she is quiet, and/or sensitive, choose a small place with a sensitive teacher; phase her in gradually. Later is better, maybe closer to 4 years, then. If she can speak, and tell you what happens, it's also reassuring. Age 3-4 is when this starts to happen. Trust your gut feel; also a good fit between you, her, the staff and the setting.
