Baby Shiloh ups the ante

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's two-and-a-half-year old daughter, Shiloh, will only respond to the name 'John.'
Article: Meagan Karstens from women24
The cheeky toddler who's luckily inherited her mom, Angie's voluptuous pout, refuses her birth name Shiloh. Instead, she's decided that John, is a far more fitting – albeit plain and ordinary – alias.

Brad Pitt made this comical admission to Oprah Winfrey on her programme which was scheduled to air Nov 19 in the States, reported www.people.com

"She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it's a Peter Pan thing," Pitt says. "So we've got to call her John.'Shi, do you want ...' – 'John. I'm John.'"

Ag moeder man, little Shiloh seems to rule the Jolie-Pitt roost... And we like!

Brad goes on to say: "Then I'll say, 'John, would you like some orange juice?' And she goes, 'No!' So, you know, it's just that kind of stuff that's cute to parents, and it's probably really obnoxious to other people."

The sizzling Legends of the Fall star admitted that a simple task – like getting their kids into the car – takes about half an hour.

Oh gosh. We forget, they've got like six of 'em!

But it seems mother dearest is in control. "Angie's militant about it. She's right on top of it," he says. "Thank God, because I'm always forgetting something."

Don't you think the Jolie-Pitt's are a delight? It's a relief (okay, okay, Shiloh wanting a man's name is also HILARIOUS) to know that while they may peak the high-profile celeb radar, their time spent away from Hollywood's glitz and glam, as a family, is... well... pretty darn normal.

Holy cow, people. She's two years old and we're already turning her into a sex object - "voluptuous pout"?!?!? She's a baby, for God's sake!

In a country with high levels of rape and child abuse, it is a disgrace that a toddler gets sexualised in this way!! sis women24!

Eats: Just because you have a dirty mind doesn't mean we all do. I didn't for a minute see the sex object thing until you pointed it out. SHe looks like her mom and dad and they both have 'voluptuous pouts'.

I thinks she is absolutely stunning. And only a parent can appreciate the little things, like your child wanting to be called something else. My Baby changed her dolls and stuffed toys different names every day. I hope they have a normal family life, away from all the glits and glam. For their sake, I hope so.

I think eats is right. When she older maybe say 16 then she can get compared to her mother. Right now she is just a baby with a cute baby smile.

...with Cassandra, describing a baby's smile as anything but 'cute' - and especially as a 'voluptuous pout' is wrong! I reckon that Shiloh Pitt wants to be called John cause she knows when she gets to school the other kids are going to do the old 'swap the first and last name initials around' trick, and then she'll be known as 'Piloh Sh***'!!!! I'd also prefer 'JOHN'...

Omg I know I hated my name (Shiloh) when I was a little girl too I also refused to be called Shiloh and would only respond to Timmy, I also used to beat up the kids in kindergarten who would call me Shiloh. I hated it soo much and now everyone loves it, I still don't like it so much but I don't respond to Timmy anymore. I'm 13yrs old it took me a while, and it should take baby Shiloh a while too.
