Newlyweds the sequel
Well it seems in Hollywood where there's an engagement there is a baby! There was plenty of talk about Beyoncé having a bun in the oven at her April 4th nuptials and last week I mentioned that Ashlee Simpson and her eye-liner loving rocker boyfriend, Pete Wentz were engaged! Well now there are plenty sources claiming that Ashlee too is with celebutot-to-be!

Her dad slash manager Joe Simpson must be charmed, being a former church minister and all... but then again it's also been widely reported that Poppa Simpson orchestrated the whole pregnancy rumour as he is a seriaaas stage dad that wants maximum publicity for his little gals... and Ash could definitely use the publicity for her third album, Bittersweet World, which is out next week. And according to a magazine industry insider, Papa Simpson is asking for $1 million for an Ashlee cover story plus photos of the baby and an interview after she pops it out. You can't help but think it's all less than a coincidence that it's coming out now.

A number of reputable American magazines are reporting that Ashlee is pregnant but her fiancé is denying the rumours saying that 'There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood,"... I agree but so often the rumours indeed turn out to be true!

Then on Tuesday, Ash appeared on TRL and, sidestepped the rumours during the interview, saying simply, "Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny (pregnancy reports), it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."... what is Ash trying to say?

And it's reported in People magazine that Ash and Pete will tie the knot next month already at a private residence in La Jolla, Southern California. Mmm why the rush Miss Ashlee? Only time will tell if this rumour is actually true but one thing is for sure... Ash is sure not like older sis Jessica, who was famously a virgin on her wedding day. But then again, look how that turned out!

Friends and foes...
When I first reported on Parys Hilton's new love, Benji Madden I said give it until April or so to hear talk of wedding bells... well that prediction has come true. While still on the Paris and Benji road show, I mean the Good Charlotte world tour, the couple have been all loved up.And Paz's parents are already talking marriage! Her mom Kathy said "It's a great love match and I have a funny feeling it's going to go all the way and we've already given it our approval!"

Glad to see her parents approve of old Benji. Wonder if an engagement is in the near future... actually I would wait for the pregnancy rumours first. Poor Nicole Richie... she may be related to Paz! Her worst nightmare come true. It really goes by that old saying, you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family!

And guess who has joined the Paris and Benji Roadshow... Mischa Barton! It's no secret that the two 'actresses' can't stand one another. Mischa's love of the moment is Taylor Locke whose band Rooney are opening for Good Charlotte on the tour so that's how she schlepped along. Apparently Paz is furious!

And speaking of friends, Paris's new MTV reality show 'I wanna be Paris's New Best Friend’, to find herself a new BFFE (since she can't seem to hang onto one) had a casting call in New York and only 40 fake friend wannabes showed up... apparently a bunch of weirdo freaks! The original bad girls
Before Britters, before Lindsay and before Parys there were the original Hollywood 'bad' girls. Serial divorcee Elizabeth Taylor and the original blonde bombshell with a penchant for affairs with powerful men, Marilyn Monroe.

Although Marilyn Monroe has been dead for over 40 years but just last week, a sex tape of the star surfaced! This tape could possibly the most famous sex tape- move aside Paz! The tape is an old school black and white silent tape of Marilyn giving some unknown dude a 'Bobby Johnson' and has just been sold to some mega-rich businessman for $1.5 million!

But this ain't no ordinary sex-tape! It's been around for yonks but the FBI had it.

Bet you wondering why they had it? Well, Marilyn famously had affairs with former U.S President John F. Kennedy AND his brother Robert 'Bobby' Kennedy- keeping it in the family, hey boys? Anyhow the FBI tried to prove that the man in the tape is one of the Kennedy brothers- scandalous! It's just a matter of time until it's released on the Internet.

And Dame Elizabeth Taylor (who actually was part of the Hilton clan back in the day-she was married to Parys's great uncle Nicky) also was in a spot of bother last week when she was rushed to hospital when she overdosed! Liz was mixing her booze and prescription pills! I very much doubt it was a Hollywood 'overdose' but still. Don't mix alcohol and meds, y'all!

Brits fender bender
Well things have been quiet on the Britney side of things- thankfully. Where she is concerned no news is fabulous news! This past weekend Britters was involved in a minor accident. She was driving with one of her bodyguards when she hit the car in front of her which hit the car in front of it. All three cars were pulled over by the police and Brit was reportedly tested by the cops to see if she was boozed slash high but all seemed peachy and nobody was ticketed, nobody was hurt and everyone went their own way. Britney does not have good luck with the driving.

And adding to the weekend dramas... Brit's ex paparazzi slime-bag boyfriend Adnan Ghalib was attacked and stabbed on Saturday night! He reportedly was stabbed in the arm and had lacerations on his face but there is yet to be any proof of the 'stabbing'. Who the hell did it... maybe it was a deranged Britney fan? It actually sounds like a bit of a publicity stunt. Adnan probably just wants a paycheck to sell his "story."

No Mary Poppins...
It's like life imitating art in the life of Brothers and Sisters star, Rob Lowe . In the popular show his character was accused of getting it on with the nanny... (how clichéd) and now he is being accused of getting frisky with his real-life nanny!

Rob Lowe's former nanny Jessica Gibson filed a lawsuit Monday claiming the actor repeatedly exposed himself, made her watch while he masturbated AND inappropriately touched her. The chick worked for them for 7 years as did her older sister... why the hell did she stay if she was 'abused'?

She is now charging his ass with sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, retaliation, unpaid off-the-clock work, overtime wages and unpaid meal periods- what the hell are unpaid meal periods?

And she is claiming that his wife also was sexually inappropriate towards her. Dozens of employees and former employees of the Lowe's have come to the actor's defense against the sexual harassment claims. I smell a serious case of extortion from this nanny chick.

Hatch and dispatch
On Sunday, Cate Blanchett popped out her third son... and gave him a truly strange name, Ignatius Martin. I suppose it's better than something like Apple. I don't know if any of you were Full House fans back in the day, well I was... any how Jodi Sweeten who played Stephanie Tanner gave birth to a little girl this weekend as well, congrats!

Congratulations to Spiderman star Toby Maguire and his wife Jennifer who expecting their second little celebutot later this year.

While on the subject of parents, Richie Sambora this week has been charged officially for child endangerment after being arrested for driving under the influence with his daughter and her friend in the car last month. Some people should not be parents.

And condolences to the lovely Cameron Diaz who's father Emilio died unexpectedly this past week after suffering from pneumonia.

And happy 2nd birthday to robo-tot Suri Cruise.
