Paris is coming...
South Africa brace yourselves, Paris Hilton is hitting our shores... and is in Johannesburg this very moment! In People magazine, Paris confirmed she will be making the trip to South Africa with boyfriend of the month, Benji Madden, when he and his twin Joel perform with their band Good Charlotte at My Coke Fest over the Easter weekend. She said, "We're actually leaving in a couple days for South Africa, so I'll be with him. I'm just happy to be together, so no matter where we are, we'll have a great time."

News24 reported that Paris and Benji arrived in South Africa at about 07:30 this morning and are staying at the shmancy Hilton Hotel (ironic!) in Sandton. Parys was looking rather grungy and not at all like the pampered party princess she is. Check out these pics of Paris in South Africa.

Nicole Richie must be thrilled... after it was reported that Nicole and Joel actually set the two up to get Benji out of their hair. Well it seems nothing's further from the truth than that rumour. Nicole has made it clear to Paris that she doesn't like her seeing Benji, American magazines are reporting. Apparently Nicole thinks Paris is a total nightmare to be around and just wants her to go away. To add fuel to the fire Nicole was very good friends with Benji's ex fiancé Sophie Monk and she feels that Paris screwed Sophie over by coming on to Benji so quickly. Ooh, drama, drama, drama! Well it's a good thing that Parys launched her new MTV reality show this past weekend... Paris Hilton's My New BFF. It seems she needs it!

Babysitting Britney
Everyone from super-couples like Heidi Klum and Seal, and Posh and Becks, to huge Hollywood players like Elton John, Julia Roberts and Queen Latifah, as well as the mega-rich Donald Trump, have offered to take Britney Spears in, and help her in her time of need. Some have even opened their homes to her. I for one am quite surprised Scientology loon Tom Cruise didn't jump on the couch, sorry bandwagon, and offer to 'heal' her... scary!

But guess who the pop princess has chosen to help her out of her funk... Mel Gibson! I'd sooooooo have asked Becks for help if I were her! Britney had dinner with Mel the other night and promptly set tongues wagging. Everyone wondered what they were doing together... please lord not another movie, anyone remember The Passion of the Christ? I do not think Brit needs to do that kind of movie.

Now we hear that she has actually been seeing him secretly for some time. Mel and his wife wanted to help Britney and thought they could be of service to the troubled. Everyone is wondering why Mel? Maybe it's because Britters used to be Mel's neighbour when she lived in Malibu. Although I have to wonder how much help they really are since Mel has plenty issues of his own. He is a recovering alcoholic and anti-semite, with serious aggression issues... and doesn't exactly have the best track record with his own kids. Yep, one of their 25 year-old twins was in rehab late last year and the other one chalked up his first DUI in 2005. Hoping it does Brits some good anyway! Everybody needs good neighbours...

Oh, and there's been a whole lotta drama concerning Britney's stays at UCLA Medical Centre as well. A whopping THIRTEEN employees of the UCLA Medical Center have been fired for snooping on Britney's confidential medical records during her stays there earlier this year. Plus, another six people have been suspended and six doctors face disciplinary action. Employees are only allowed to peruse records if they are directly caring for a patient. Violating that not only goes against the hospital's code of conduct, but it's against the law too. And, what's worse, the same thing happened to Britney when she gave birth to her first son, Sean Preston, at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica a few years ago!! I suspect a tell-all story in an American mag soon...

But this is not all, Britney has just been ordered by the LA courts to pay Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline's lawyer, $375,000 in legal bills! Well she better save some of her $1500 weekly allowance for that! But apart from this financial setback, Britney is doing well by most accounts. There's a positive advance buzz for her guest role on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, which airs in America next week. The cast praised Britney's professionalism on set and said she was funny and personable. Check out the promo here!

Halle Berry finally popped on Sunday and gave birth to a little baby girl. Mom and daughter are doing great it's been reported. Just yesterday before leaving the hospital, Halle released the name of her little celebutot, Nahla Ariela Aubry. It's very Disney-esque but supercute. Cannot wait to see what she looks like! Hollywood is wondering whether Halle will also sell the first pics of her little one...

Mommy-to-be Angelina Jolie is blooming... she is getting bigger by the minute! Brangelina hasn't actually confirmed or announced their pregnancy but she sure is with child (ren). The super-couple are currently living in a small town in Texas called Smithville (and been dubbed Pittsville) and it seems that Angie and Brad may actually have an 'American' child... yes Angie is set to give birth in America, Texas y'all and not in France as predicted! P.S. Just heard that Brangie are having a boy and a girl!

Nicole Kidman, the thinnest pregnant women around, announced this week that dreamboat George Clooney will be the godfather to her little tot! Lucky fish.

And former Beverly Hills 90210 starlet Tori Spelling, has announced she is expecting a little girl. Congrats!

Well, the divorce battle of the year, and maybe even the decade, has finally ended. After almost 2 years of fighting over the former Beatles millions, Heather Mills McCartney and Sir Paul McCartney have finally come to an 'agreement' on a divorce settlement! After much public mud-slinging, Mills will get £25 million plus £15.6 million in assets – that's something like £700 for each hour they were married! Plus child support for their little girl Beatrice.

But now all the dirty laundry as been aired as two Court of Appeal judges dismissed Heather Mills's attempt to keep the details of the divorce a secret. The explosive 58-page judgement brought to an end intense speculation over the demands made by both sides in the case. Heather's reputation is in ruins since the details were revealed! It seems the Judge presiding over the case accused her of blatantly defrauding Paul of £500,000 and said that Paul was accurate and honest throughout. She is officially the most hated woman it seems and also a little nuts after she poured water all over Paul's lawyer. I bet Paul is kicking himself for not getting a pre-nup! Another lesson we can learn from Hollywood: ALWAYS get a prenup if you are a billionaire and you marry a former hooker!

Why is it for good? Well it seems the Cape lass was cheating! Yes, she cheated on Paul. She confessed that her dangerous liaisons took place while on holiday in Mozambique – brutal!
