Baby mama drama!

Remember how crushed Ntombi was in March when she heard the pregnancy, and was forced to move on with her life without him. Well, now she has some pregnancy news of her own to share. Does this mean that she's finally going to get the man she loves?

But how did things get to this point? In March Ntombi and Sibusiso had started making plans to spend the rest of their lives together. But just when she was enjoying being in love, Ntombi was shattered by the news that Karabo was pregnant with Sibusiso's child. Now the tables have turned, since Ntombi discovered that she was pregnant – just as she and Sibusiso have been getting along so well in recent weeks.

Pain and anguish
Earlier Ntombi was forced to give up her man and dreams of a happy life together, because Sibusiso has always wanted a son to carry on the Dlomo name. And when he found out that Karabo was expecting his son, Sibusiso decided that he and Karabo should marry. Actor Menzi Ngubane says that having the Dlomo name carried on has always been a dream of Sibusiso's. "Sibusiso was looking forward to having a boy with Karabo, so he rushed into a marriage of convenience," he says.

All is revealed
Even though Ntombi and Sibusiso slept together on the night they searched for Karabo after she went missing, they never imagined that she would fall pregnant. Ntombi didn't see the signs that she could be expecting a child. But the signs were there! "Samuel suggested she may have problems with her diabetes and that forced her to go to the doctor," Sonia says.

But now that Ntombi knows the truth, how will she reveal it to her best friend Karabo? After all, Karabo did exactly the same thing to Ntombi by sleeping with Sibusiso – knowing very well that Ntombi was in love with Sibusiso. As we know, Karabo suffered a miscarriage. And as if that wasn't bad enough, Karabo found out the shocking truth about Ntombi's pregnancy from Anne.

According to Menzi, Sibusiso vows to make things right with Ntombi and wants this pregnancy to work out right. "He's got a chance to reunite with her and he wants to hold on to her with both hands. Sibusiso loves that Ntombi is going to mother his child," he says.

The truth
If you don't want to know about Karabo's terrible heartache yet, don't read further! Because here is the vicious truth.

While Karabo is still dealing with the shock on Thursday 9 August, she sees the two lovebirds, Sibusiso and Ntombi, spending some quality time together at the office. "She's very angry seeing them happily together and wishes that the same kind of happiness would finally happen to her," admits Connie. Ntombi decides out of loyalty to Karabo to visit her at her home to tell her the truth about the pregnancy. But it's a messy meeting.

"Irrespective of the recent issues between them, they have always been civil towards each other, but because of everything that has happened, they'r every careful around one another," explains Sonia. Connie says that Karabo feels a lot of resentment towards Ntombi. "Karabo knows in her heart that Ntombi didn't come in bad blood, but she doesn't see that at the time. All she sees is Ntombi coming to gloat. She doesn't see the real reason why Ntombi is there to tell her the truth. At that moment there's no way in hell they're going to be friends again." Says Sonia: "They've shared a deep friendship and Ntombi feels that telling Karabo in person was the right thing todo as a friend."

Happily ever after?
In the episode of Friday 10 August, Sibusiso and Ntombi seem to be thinking about their future and joke about the high lobola price he'd have to pay for her. Does this mean that they will raise their child as a family? In the week after that, on Tuesday 14 August, Sibusiso's uncle Jabulani(Nyembezi Kunene) arrives in town to head up the lobola negotiations. But it will take a lot of convincing to make sure all the needs are met. There are still a lot of issues at hand and it may take some time before they can be worked out.

"But Sibusiso and Ntombi are thrilled. They have this one opportunity to start over, and they both want to do the right thing. Right now life is really looking good for them both!" As for Karabo and Ntombi's friendship, can things ever work out between them? "Karabo expresses her hurt, but she knows there's nothing she can do aboutthe situation. She admits that she has to let sleeping dogs lie," says Sonia.

Menzi says Generations fans can look forward to a very interesting year ahead with some good twists lying ahead in the soapie. "Look forward to Sibusiso and Ntombi's relationship and watching them deal with their problems. These two people have found each other and want to stay together forever. But there are a lot of surprises in store," he teases.

Will Ntombi and Sibusiso be able toprovide a loving family environment for their child? Will the guilt of betraying Karabo come back to haunt them? It seems that huge drama awaits Sibusiso, Karabo and Ntombi for the rest of the year – so don't miss it!
