Question
How do I change drill bits on a hammer drill (not cordless)? Got it from my dad and there's no instruction manual anymore.
Answer
This particular drill uses a keyed-chuck to open, which means that you need the 'key'. They key has small ridges on the bottom that slot into the holes on the chuck (at the end where the drill bits go). You turn the key clockwise (to lock) and anti-clockwise (to open. If you don't have the key, you should be able to obtain a replacement at your local hardware store by telling them the make and model of the drill.Regards
