I have a maroon leather lounge suite. I would like to buy a carpet and a dining room suite, and in the process I want to change my curtains. What colour dining room suite should I purchase, colour of curtains, carpet and cushion. I want my place to be beautiful and classic.
Answer
In the deeper colour spectrum maroon would work with shades of dark green, navy blue, grey and black, perhaps with splashes of deep gold for accessories (curtains, cushions).
On the lighter side, cream and pale gold, a light sage green and butternut yellow would work beautifully with burgundy/maroon.
