How do I subscribe to the podcasts?
To subscribe to the Women24 podcast, you have to right click on this link and select copy shortcut:
http://www.women24.com/w24/podCasts/w24__podFashionWeek.rss
The next step is to open ITunes on your computer. In ITunes, click on 'Advanced' at the top, then on 'Subscribe to podcast'. Paste the link you have copied in the box.
If you don't have ITunes, you can download it for free, on the Apple website.
Once you have subscribed, ITunes will automatically give you the option to download the new podcasts as they become available.
What is a podcast?
A podcast is simply a way to get video or audio files off the Internet easily. And it IS easy. Plus you get to keep them, similar to when you download music.
Once the podcast has downloaded you’ll be able to view or listen to it on your computer or transfer it to a media player. (We predict only three of you will transfer it to a media player, e.g. an iPod. Just watch it on your computer.)
Why do I have to subscribe?
Subscribing to the Women24 podcast simply means that whenever we at Women24.com make a new video or audio podcast, you’ll be prompted to download it.
Do subscribe. This is a new feature on our site and it is sure to be amateurishly and entertainingly handled.
And, while we are at it... what's a gallery?
That’s even easier. Photos. To view our fine selection of Cape Town Fashion Week galleries click here.
