1. Mix 2 thigh-quality honey with 10 drops of fresh lemon juice. Leave in the fridge to cool.
2. Use a peeler to take the skin off a cucumber and then cut 10 super-thin slices. Place these on a plate and store in fridge too.
3. Cleanse and tone your skin with your usual products, then pat dry with a clean towel.
4. Apply the honey mixture to face, and gently rub in with small, circular strokes. Leave on for 5 minutes, or until the mixture becomes dry and sticky.
5. Place the cucumber slices on top, lie back and relax for 10 minutes.
6. Remove cucumber, wipe off honey with a sponge and water, and then apply your regular moisturiser.
Why it works?
"Honey moisturises skin and has gentle astringent properties, so that it can penetrate better and feed skin from within," Lana says. And cucumber is an age-old, at-home remedy for puffy eyes, which leaves skin feeling cool and refreshed.
