The Jamais bag combines luxurious ostrich leather and white Aquarelle canvas, featuring seventeen colours, freckled and smudged with the artist’s creative flair.
A total of 50 Jamais bags will be available for the duration of Richard Princes’ exhibition at London’s Serpentine Gallery. Every bag bears the artist’s signature, and will be individually numbered, making each piece not only a work of art, but a collector’s item in its own right.
Each bag features a name tag that can be personalized with the owner’s initials.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Jamais bags will be donated to the Serpentine Gallery.
The exhibition opened on 25th June attracting public personalities such as Cherie Blair and model Claudia Schiffer.
The exhibition runs from 26th June to 7th September 2008.
