Make small eyes look bigger
Women who have small eyes are often afraid of using eye make-up because they fear it will make their eyes appear even smaller. But with the right make-up you can create the illusion of larger eyes.

You will need:
1:Light or white eye shadow
2: Neutral eye shadow
3: Eye shadow brush or sponge
4: White eye pencil
5:Mascara

Step one: Apply a light shade of eye shadow (white will give the best results) to top your eyelid, from lashes to brow, to highlight your eyes. Concentrate on the rounded part of your eyelid and on the bone directly under the brow.

Step two: Apply neutral brown or grey eye shadow to the fold of your eye to add definition. Avoid dark shades that will make your eyes look smaller. Blend in well.

Step three: A white or beige eye pencil eye pencil is absolutely essential. Draw a line from corner to corner on the inside of both your top and bottom lids. This will make the whites of your eyes look larger and will enhance your eyes. Finish your eyes with black or brown mascara.

Tips for small eyes:

  • Keep your eyebrows neatly plucked to 'open up' your eyes.
  • Curl your top lashes before you apply mascara

    Add depth to large eyes
Large yes are striking and the idea is not to make them appear smaller but to give them depth and definition.

    You will need:
1: Neutral, dark or black shadow
2: Neutral, dark or black eye pencil
    3:Eye shadow brush
    4: Mascara

Step one: Apply grey or brown eye shadow from your lashes to the fold of your eye and blend well.

Step two: Draw a soft, smudged line in the same beneath your bottom lashes.

Step three: Using an eye pencil in the same shade as the shadow, draw a line from corner to corner on the inside of your top and bottom lids. This is referred to as the kohl technique. Finish off with black mascara.

    Tips for large eyes
The darker the eye shadow and the pencil, the more depth you will have, but always remember to blend it in well.
