"Instead, choose a natural, tinted moisturiser that will even out your skin tone, minimise imperfections and create a sexy sheen," she says. A pout with clout
Lips are as lustrous as ever, but instead of slicking on a gloss that's likely to end up on your cocktail glass, create a longer-lasting stain of colour, then add the shine on top. "Stains give your lips a flattering punch of colour and because you add the shine afterwards, they have much more staying power," says Adele.

"Choose a fresh, natural, rosy red-toned lipstick. Apply and blot three times to build up a stained effect, then slick on some clear lip gloss, or go for a gloss with glamorous shimmer for balmy nights."

Blushed cheeks
Give your complexion instant bloom with the latest alternatives to powder blushers. The new cream, stick and liquid cheek colours have a sheen which gives skin a gorgeous, natural-looking glow.

To apply cream or liquid, dab your finger on the colour, apply to your cheeks and blend quickly. Build up the colour gradually. You want to look gently flushed, not hot and bothered!

Beautiful nails
Well-groomed nails add to the look. File nails neatly and apply nail polish. Stay with short – long can look quite intimidating. And don't forget your feet.

For fabulous feet and toes, use a pumice stone, clip your nails properly and always apply body cream, especially to heels.

Legs from heaven
Tanned legs look longer and sexier and the bronze tone helps disguise cellulite and thread veins. Make your legs shine and give them a moisture boost at the same time with tinted, gleaming body products. For areas such as the legs, creamy formulas are best – they're easier to smooth on and blend in.
