Sibu Msimang Designs by Gugu Msimang
Gugu, also known as Sibu, started her career in December 2005 when she was awarded with the "Opportunity Award" at the Annual 3rd year Fashion Show at the Durban University of technology. This award entitled her to a 6-month free rail rental at the Durban Designers Emporium. Her label, "Sibu Msimang Designs" was born in December 2005. Sibu took part in the MTN Durban Fashion Week 2006 and in 2007 she showcased as part of the Ifalethu Heritage Collection. Last year she was invited to showcase with 9 of the finest Durban designers at the MTN Sunflower Fund Fashion Show.
She describes her style as 'ethnic-inspired fabulousness'. Incorporating ethnic elements and colours into her designs is her trademark. 'The waistline is the sexiest part of her woman?s body, she believes.

Thesis
Thesis was born in 2004 and is currently managed four youths from Soweto, Mangi Mbitshana, Wandile Zondo, Siphiwe Msibi and Mangaliso Radebe. The label was started as a second-hand clothing project in which the guys would give the garments new live. This has now built a brand that brings a combination of western design mixed with a Soweto feel. There mission now is to be a clothing brand of choice to the youth of Soweto and South Africa, by providing quality at affordable prices.

NN Enterprise by Nhlanhla Nciza
Nhlanhla Nciza is the creative director of her clothing line, and the CEO of the NN Enterprise in partnership with her husband, co-owner of TS Records, Thembinkosi "TK" Nciza. She is also known for her singing career both as a solo artist and within the group Mofikizolo.
Although her innate sense of style and her affinity for the finer things in life puts the NN Brand at the forefront of the urban luxury movement, the brand's success will rely on her ability to merge the worlds of fashion, music and the entertainment industry.

| South Africa is alive with possibilities, we have innovative minds ,lets stick to african flavour, to what makes us different from others and not Western wannabes. it will be encouraging for western countries to get inspiration from South Africa and not the other way round | ||
