Black and white issue
Vicky is shocked at our obsession with colour and culture.
Why is it that blacks in SA are so obsessed with skin colour? Rather than concentrating on validity/content of points made in a debate? Are we sure we are over apartheid mentalities? Can we not see beyond 'colour'? What was the point of the liberation struggle?
It is becoming hard to communicate with people due to this obsession with colour/culture. I have to give it to Dr Verwoerd, he NOT only brainwashed his followers it looks like he effectively went far and beyond and his legacy lives on.
I was shocked the other day reading about how SAPS identify illegal immigrants by being darker than Sans. I mean is this not exactly the criteria (skin shade) used in the past?
