Twilight by Stephanie Meyer (Megan Tingley Books)
Written in dreamy, hypnotic and captivating prose, Stephanie Meyer's novel, Twilight, is a gem of a novel in the rapidly emerging romantic paranormal genre.

Twilight tells the story of Isabella Swan, a 17-year-old girl who relocates from sunny California to the lush but gloomy area of Forks where her life is about to take a dramatic turn of events.

Brainy, accident prone and socially awkward, Bella finds it hard to adjust in the small town even though she quickly garners a number of friends and admirers.

Stumbling through her first day, her attention is quickly captured by the Cullen family.

Pale, startlingly beautiful and impossibly wealthy, the Cullen family keep to themselves and harbour a dark secret that would send the citizens of Forks into a frenzy of fear. Without any sense of self-preservation, Bella finds herself increasingly drawn to the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, the youngest member of the Cullen family.

Unbeknownst to her, Edward is actually a 90-year old vampire, who against his better judgement, finds himself falling in love with Bella. As the relationship between Bella and Edward deepens, the danger that surrounds Bella and those closest to her intensifies to such an extent that it may be too late to turn back.

The first in a four-part series, Twilight has taken the book world by storm with its modern approach to vampire lore. Dark, compelling and sensually seductive, it is an absolute must read.

I have read this book and believe me...it is a very contemporary love story with a twist, that will keep even the most skeptic person interested. Edward and Bella's story is epic and so very different from anything I have ever read. The whole Twilight saga is GREAT! I totally can't wait for the movie to come out!

I'm a a huge Stephenie Meyer fan. I've finished all four books in the Twilight-saga, including the huge Breaking Dawn. A must for any fiction fan.

I absolutely fell in love with the story and the characters and literally couldn't wait to read the whole series. I gave Twilight to all my friends to read, and they became addicts too!
