Women and Beyond

Women and Beyond was established in 2007. The organisation recently planted a SAFE HOME to accommodate homeless, helpless and vulnerable women.  

Over the past 4 years we have not been able to accommodate such women, because we did not have the resources, infrastructures and finances to do so. 

We also only offered services to disabled women, women living with terminal illnesses and also aided those living under poor circumstances. All the work is done at the women's centre (157 Blaauwberg RD Table View) or from their own homes when we do outreaches.

Another great initiative that we are involved in at the moment is the NO SHAME campaign. This initiative was started following and increased number of Women abuse that occurred and most of this happening in their own homes.

This has then led us as an organization to mark the month of April 2012 as an Awareness month. The organization is now on a tour which started on 07 April 2012 in Cape Town to raise awareness on Women Abuse mainly focusing on Rape around the country. As Women and Beyond we are saying that, there is NO SHAME, SPEAK OUT your voice will be heard.
