QUESTION
Hi, I have clothes dating from way back. I WILL not fit into them ever again, but they are still of very good quality and in excellent nick. Is there anywhere I can sell them to get a few rand back?
I also want to donate some of the smaller (almost new) clothes my daughter has left behind since leaving home. I was thinking of donating them to a children's home. Will the children get them, or do the organisations sell them?
You assistance will be greatly appreciated.

ANSWER
You can try sell some of your good clothes that you no longer need, use nor love on www.gumtree.co.za – it works well to take a couple of photographs and then sell them in batches for a fixed amount.
When you give items away to charity organisations they usually use the items they need and sell or pass on those that they don't. Either way they win as the extra funds they make from sales would go to things that they need like food, electricity, etc. You win too from the cleared space and through knowing you have done your bit.
