QUESTION
What are the symptoms of high blood pressure? I am 42 years old and I get very hot at night.
ANSWER
High blood pressure is often known as the 'silent killer' as there are rarely symptoms and so most people are unaware of the condition. In more advanced cases there may be some visual disturbances, nausea and vomiting and sleepiness. Hormonal changes may be a cause of feeling hot at night but I suggest you consult your doctor.
