QUESTION
Hi Debbie
Firstly, thanks for a great column, which I find very interesting. I am 48 years old, and and 1,73m tall. I currently weigh 106kg's, having lost 23kg's since September 2010. I still have another 18kg's to loose. I am on the Weigh-Less eating programme, so I am eating 3 well balanced meals a day. Although I am thrilled about my weight loss, I am very concerned about all the "extra" skin I now have around my waist. I have always had a "tummy" but after the birth of my 2 kids I also got a "flap" of skin over my abdomen. I was hoping this would gradually disappear with my weight loss, but all I am left with is really flabby skin. This has made me rather fearful of losing any more weight, but I am also enjoying wearing "ordinary" sized clothes again, so I feel as if I am in a "catch 22" situation.
I have started doing water aerobics, hoping that this will firm me up. I don't enjoy going to the gym and cannot afford plastic surgery.
Do you have any advice for me?
Many thanks
Cherè
