Once in a while, you’re bound to have one glass of wine too many and we all know that pounding headache, dry mouth and listlessness that comes with having a hangover. It almost feels like your body has been run over by a car. You probably can’t think straight, let alone get out of bed.
We decided to ask our Facebook fans for their guaranteed-to-make-you-feel-more-alive hangover cures. Here is what they shared:
Reitumetse: Eating meat (especially red meat) wit lot of chilli sauce.
Fikile: Chop chillies, onion, tomatoes and green pepper. Mix them together in a bowl and eat them with a spoon. That works for me.
Elsa: Take an ample dop of Eno with a couple of headache tablets before you go to bed and you’ll wake up as fit as a fiddle.
Jill: Stoney Ginger Beer.
Nancy: Cucumber salad.
Georgina: Before you go to sleep, drink water and/or orange juice, a headache tablet and then a greasy Wimpy breakfast in the morning.
Angelique: Two Vitamin C tablets and two Myprodols plus Stemetil. Then bacon and eggs (if u can keep it in). Oh, and lots of water.
Melissa: Cream Soda.
Adelheid: Rehydrate and Vitamin B. Oh, and those “tigers eye” vitamins.
Naomi: Charcoal tablets help and lots of water and juice too.
