Eh? Famous idiot and senator, Rick Santorum believes sex should be about making babies, not having fun.
The Pennsylvanian Senator and utter douchebag, Rick Santorum wants to repeal all federal funding for contraception.
Read that again.
Yes folks, he doesn't want the American government to assist in paying for contraception. Note, this has nothing to do with abortions, this is BIRTH CONTROL. Why?
Well because according to him: “[Contraception] is not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. [Sex] is supposed to be within marriage. It’s supposed to be for purposes that are yes, conjugal…but also procreative. That’s the perfect way that a sexual union should happen…This is special and it needs to be seen as special.”
Some might argue that he has a slightly romantic view. They would be wrong. This man is evil. Contraception has been the single most important weapon in the quasi-emancipation of women.
We can now decide when we want kids, how many we want, and if we want to procreate at all. Before birth control we had no choice:
if you had to pop out 12 children and die a withered husk from multiple
childbirths you had to. Now we can actually choose how, with who and
when we want kids and when, how and with who we want sex.
If Santorum had his way, men would be able to screw around just as they please. Biologically men are seldom left holding the baby.
And what about STDs Mr. Santorum? Although having read his opinions - he probably believes people who get sexually transmitted diseases deserve to die. Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of women and children and even men who get raped and abused.
Evil, I tell you.
