1. Teenage mother
Alexandra Joubert: Falling pregnant at 15... NOT part of the plan but if it hadn't happened I wouldn't have my wonderful little boy.
2. Panic and depression
Lehandra Lea Van Zyl: Dealing with panic disorder and depression since my teens… it has taught me how to persevere and made me aware of strength I never knew I had. It's awful, but without it I couldn't have learned how to conquer life and truly appreciate it!
3. Husband's death
Jackie Janse Van Rensburg: My husband died 8 years ago. It is the worst thing that ever happened to me, but it was the catalyst for huge growth and development. I am a much better person today because of it.
4. Being unemployed
Thande Mabasa: I’m grateful for being unemployed now because it has given me time to do my learners which I got last week, so now I’m doing my license!
5. Getting divorced
Karen Du Toit: Getting divorced and able to start anew! New life with new hubby and a baby… best thing ever!
6. Capacity for alcohol
Debra Bekker: My capacity for alcohol - hollow legs never allow me to make a fool of myself!
7. Still living at home
Charmaine 'Lebo' Seboledisho: Still living with my parents’ means I get to bond with my mother.

9. Having friends with bigger problems
Karen Du Preez: Having friends with lots of problems which are worse than what most people have. I wake up in the morning feeling grateful and relieved that I actually have no complaints. It makes me humble and very considerate.
10. My credit limit
Lamilles: I'm grateful for my credit limit of R10000 - if it was more, I'd surely be in HUGE debt!
