Taylor frantically goes to Ridge about her fear that Steffy is in trouble. Ridge and Taylor discuss how much different life would currently be if they had gone through with their wedding.
Liam coincidentally arrives at Steffy’s apartment just after she is involved in a dangerous incident.
Steffy tells Taylor of Liam’s act of heroism and how she has a newfound appreciation for him.
Liam is visibly emotionally affected as he recalls his story about Steffy to Hope. Steffy tries to think of new and inventive ways to thank Liam for not only saving her life, but giving her a fresh perspective.
After Liam tells his father about saving Steffy’s life, Bill warns him to stay as far away from her as possible.
Hope becomes suspicious by Steffy’s sudden change in behavior towards her. Steffy taunts Hope about the life changing experience that she had shared with Liam and how fate has brought them together.
When Hope warns her to stay away from Liam, Steffy points out that she has something to give him that Hope has been withholding. Dayzee and Marcus discuss where their budding relationship is heading and where Amber stands in their equation.
There is a full house in attendance at the Forrester Creations fashion show as Hope debuts her new collection. Before going on stage, Steffy plays on Hope’s insecurities by bringing up the topic of her withholding sex from Liam.

As everyone watches Liam proposing to Hope, he becomes increasingly worried that she may publicly reject him. Hope shocks everyone when she runs out of the room without giving Liam her answer. Steffy, who was heartbroken by the proposal, feels that she may still have a chance with Liam after seeing Hope’s reaction.
After being missing for hours, Hope returns home and delivers surprising news to Brooke. Feeling that the time has come for her and Liam to become intimate, Hope receives advice from Brooke about how to have a successful experience.
Ridge confronts Liam about his sudden need to get married to Hope. He then confides in Liam about Steffy confessing feelings for him after he had saved her life.
Oliver and Steffy commiserate about how the people that they have feelings for are with others. Steffy expresses her frustration that Hope always seems to get everything that Steffy badly yearns for.
As a means to find out what is going on between Liam and Hope, Steffy arrives at Brooke’s house bearing gifts. Steffy makes verbal jabs towards Brooke and points blame at the cause of why she and Hope aren’t friends. Liam and Hope’s romantic evening doesn’t quite turn out as they had planned.
Taylor shares her concern about Steffy having feelings for Liam with Ridge. Steffy tries to talk Liam into getting out of his sexless relationship and be with someone who will satisfy his needs.
