Brooke expresses her concern to Ridge about Hope not being ready or prepared for marriage. Steffy attempts to change Liam’s mind about marrying Hope by leading him to believe that she would make him happier.
Liam’s family and friends are taken aback by the lack of celebration and joy from him regarding his and Hope's recent engagement. Steffy confesses to Taylor her frustration about Hope and Liam getting married and how wrong they are for each other. Ridge surprises Hope with a trip to Paris to promote the new “Hope for the Future” collection.
When Katie and Donna ask Brooke about the lack of excitement surrounding Hope’s engagement, Brooke informs them that the couple have not been intimate with each other yet.
Knowing that Steffy is waiting in the wings for Liam, Donna and Katie agree to keep their eye on Steffy while Brooke attempts to talk Hope into staying in town.
Steffy uses the opportunity of Hope being out of the country to continue her attempt of convincing Liam to not get married.
Nick questions Bill’s ulterior motive for wanting to buy Jackie M. Brooke confronts Taylor about Steffy making a play for Liam while Hope is in Paris.
Brooke gives a stern warning to Taylor that Steffy will meet the same fate as she did with Bill if she continues to pursue Liam.
At a press conference in Paris, Hope makes it publicly known that she plans to abstain from sex until she is married. Steffy’s recent lingerie photos cause much frustration for Liam as he continues to fight with temptation.
8 - 15 Oct
While trying on the wedding dress that Eric made for her, Hope reaffirms to herself how her abstinence is the right decision for her and Liam. Meanwhile, Steffy takes for granted her time alone with Liam to put his situation and relationship with Hope into perspective.
Taylor is taken aback when she receives a psychic reading from Anthony predicting that her future will soon be taking a dramatic turn. Stephanie makes a sincere plea to Taylor for forgiveness and for them to become friends again.
Amber humbly asks Justin and Donna for support of her pursuing a relationship with Marcus; she is stunned by their response.
Amber makes an emotional request for Marcus to give her a chance with him despite his relationship with Dayzee. Ridge voices to Brooke his guilt for causing the pain that Steffy, Thomas and Taylor have experienced throughout their lives.
Taylor is stunned when Anthony’s prediction comes true about a mystery man showing up at her door. She’s even more stunned when he kisses her! Still ridden with guilt, Stephanie apologizes to Brooke once again for the lie she and Thomas concocted and vows to prove how much she has changed.
Hope returns from Paris and shares a joyous reunion with Liam while Steffy watches with disdain and jealousy. Steffy accuses Ridge of condoning Hope’s agenda and giving her a platform to do so by heavily publicizing her engagement.
Steffy’s anti-Logan loathing is fueled when Hope criticizes the lingerie line as being too provocative and needing to be toned down. Taylor is intrigued by the idea of helping her family, but worries about the collateral damage the plan may cause. Steffy has her suspicions about who Taylor’s mystery man might be.
