Former manager and general unsavoury character, Sam Lufti, alleges that Britney Spears had a serious meth problem.

Sam Lufti is suing the Spears’ family for a whole lot of money. While Lufti alleges that Britney was crazy because she was on meth, and he was trying to protect her, Britney’s lawyers are making a case that Mr Lufti was a drug pusher who manipulated an unbalanced girl, isolated her from all her loved ones, and milked her for all she was worth.

Lufti says when Britney had her meltdown and shaved off all her hair, it was because she was worried that traces of the drug would be found in her hair. While that sounds like typical junkie behaviour, I am still on Britters’ side in this one.

She’s done her time, and it’s time to set her free from her conservatorship so that she can start looking like a human again, instead of the dead-eyed, fake-smiled zombie they wheel out every now and again.

And I don’t think Sam Lufti should get a red cent.
