Finally fed up with tabloids badmouthing his parental skills, the actor filed a 434million defamation suit!
Two American supermarket tabloids, Lifestyle and In Touch, are in hot water after alleging that the A-lister is a dead beat dad who abandoned his daughter Suri, following his divorce from Katie Holms.
Tom’s lawyer Bert Fields told TMZ that he is a caring father who loves his daughter dearly and to “…say it in lurid headlines (that he is a bad father) with a tearful picture of Suri is reprehensible.”
Apparently, this million dollar case is a way to teach celebrity gossip rags a lesson in credibility.
Oh dear…
