So, we told you that Oprah interviewed the Kardashians and that she was surprised by Scott, Khloe, and Lamar . Well, now we have the low down on what exactly was said during their chat.
In the first of a two-part, special edition of Oprah’s Next Chapter, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe along with brother Rob and mom Kris Jenner got very comfortable with O.
The family opened up about everything from Kim’s sex tape, Kourtney’s relationship with boyfriend Scott Disick, and Kris’ role as their “momager.”
Kim says she’s “not naive” to the fact that her little home movie featuring Ray J introduced her to millions of people across the world.
“That’s something that I’m going to have to live with the rest of myself. Something that I’m going to have to tell my children one day,” Kim said sadly.
Kim’s mom, Kris, says she cried herself to sleep “for a few nights” after finding out about the tape, but went on to “do what a mom would do.”
“[I] just said, ‘Look I love you and I’m here for you. Whatever you do can never be that bad.’”.
Kim says she looks back on the controversies in her life as experiences that taught her some harsh but much-needed lessons.
On her 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim says they spent too little time together before getting hitched. “Once we moved in, I knew that he was not ‘the one,’” she confessed. “As heartbreaking as that was to (file for divorce)… the lesson that I learned, and the person I am because of that crazy experience, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
Also, Kris expresses regret at having an affair with Bruce Jenner, whilst she was still married to the late Robert Kardashian, but she knows she wouldn’t have daughters Kylie and Kendall if she hadn’t.
Kourtney says her mom’s affair is still a bitter pill to swallow for her. “I try to put myself in her shoes, and I would never do that to my family. I’m kind of scared of marriage because of that,” she admitted. She also said that she and boyfriend, Scott Disick are “just as committed” as if they were married.
The youngest of the clan, Rob, said he actually “hates” the words “celebrity” and “fame,” explaining, “It sounds like you’re talking about yourself in an arrogant way. It just seems weird.”
Kris, on the other hand, makes no apologies for using “any opportunity given to me to its fullest advantage.”
“And it doesn’t get any better than this,” she said. “I know I’m exactly where I want to be.”
