Michael denies skin cancer claims

Michael Jackson's spokesperson has shot down reports that the singer is secretly battling skin cancer.
Jackson was diagnosed with skin cancer after doctors spotted early signs of cancer on his neck and precancerous cells on his face, The Sun reported. A source says, "Michael's tests showed spots of skin cancer on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face."
Apparently, Jackson was seen at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and will be treated by award-winning cosmetic and skin cancer surgeon, Dr Ralph Massey.
The Sun reported that Jackson's condition is treatable and he will recover in time to perform his comeback concerts. "He insisted that any treatment must fit around the concerts and the show will go on," the source said. "Michael is really looking forward to his concerts and is determined to wow his fans at each and every gig."
The star is determined to make the concert series, This Is It a success and is currently preparing the show's choreography. Tickets for the concerts have already sold out, with some fans willing to pay up to six times the original price for a single ticket. Entertainment and Showbiz reports that a pair of VIP tickets were sold on eBay for a rip-off price of £16,000 (R186,000).
Michael Unmasked
Reports of ill-health have dogged Jackson since his concert series was announced but this weekend the superstar went out in public without his surgical mask to disprove the skin cancer rumours. Jackson's representatives have consistently denied the claims, saying he passed all the required health tests.
Company president of concert promoters AEG Live International, Rob Hallet says, "He's fitter than I'll ever be. His cholesterol levels, his blood, everything was perfect and we got the insurance."
"He's come back to put an end to all the bulls*** rumours about his health," says Jackson's business partner, Dr Tohme. "He's in perfect health... he doesn't have any disease whatsoever."
"I think he has answered his critics. He is back to his old self – he's fine, and couldn't be in better shape," Dr Tohme told New York News. "He was away for all this time because he was dedicating his life to his children and being a single parent, he said."
