The Material Girl was recently booed off stage during a performance in France.

The singer was performing at Paris’ l’Olympia, when, just 45 minutes into the concert, the crowd started chanting "salope” – the French word for slut- and throwing bottles on stage.

What’s with the anger, you ask? Well, it seems that her fans, many of whom had camped out overnight in order to get tickets, were furious that the show was much shorter than her other performances on her MDNA tour. In Madge’s defense, it was a last minute addition to the tour.

Many of the concert goers, who paid hundreds of rands for their seats, continued to protest outside the venue demanding a refund. Other fans tweeted that the short performance wasn’t even worth paying the price of admission.

Rep’s for Madonna are yet to comment on the incident.
