A reality series about the ex-wives of Hollywood celebrities will be launched soon in the US. Will you be watching?

Last week VH1 announced they will be launching a 10 episode series about the ex-wives of Hollywood celebs. The show, entitled Hollywood Exes, will showcase the women trying to move on and create a name for themselves, separate to those of their famous ex-husbands.

The women that will feature in the show are:

•    Sheree Fletcher, who was married to Will Smith for 3 years,
•    Nicole Murphy, married to Eddy Murphy for 13 years,
•    Andrea Kelly, ex-wife of R.Kelly
•    Matye Garcia, who only managed to stay married to Prince for 3 years and,
•    Jessica Canseco whose union to Jose Canseco, ended after 4 years of marriage.

It’s a good thing the ex-wives are trying to carve out a life for themselves and all, but some of them probably still hold resentment towards their ex-husbands. And who knows what could go down during the show – Just imagine all the drama and secrets  that could potentially be revealed.

Jeff Olde, executive vice president, original programming and production at VH1 said: “These extraordinarily strong women adjusted to and endured a lot while their ex-spouses won fame and fortune defining pop culture for that moment.” 
 
“They want to establish themselves as independent, successful women and bring relevance ad honor to themselves separate from their very famous exes…even if there is a little drama along the way.” Oh yeah? Sounds more like broke women desperate to make money now that their strings have been cut.
