The mystery person wanting to buy the rights to Kim K sex tape will have to fork out at least $30 million.

Vivid Entertainment received a letter from a lawyer representing a mystery person who wants Kim K sex tape off the market. And they are willing to pay big moola for it.

In the letter it said: “I was approached by a private party who has asked us about looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights of the Vivid, 'Kim Kardashian Sex Tape.” And also further adds: “The party we represent does not intend to distribute or broadcast the 'tape,' but hopes to completely remove it from the market.”

The mystery buyer may not have been revealed, but a clue was left behind in the letter. It said: "We would purchase any other footage you may have control of that involves Ms. Kardashian." Now why did the lawyer not mention the other person in the tape - Ray J? Hmm?

The mystery buyer also wants all the raw, unused footage that never made it to the DVD.

$30 million is a lot of money. Now that Kim Kardashian and hubby Kris Humphries have made big bucks from their wedding, we wouldn’t be surprised if they are behind the mystery buyer.

And in the past Kim K has shown interest in buying the rights to the tape.
