Six-time Grammy Award winner, John Legend is headed to South Africa for three shows in October. He will play in Cape Town on October 15, Durban on the 17th and Johannesburg on the 18th.

Legend's concert will feature many of his biggest singles – from 'Green Light' and 'Everybody Knows' off his current release 'Evolver', to the classic songs from his back catalogue such as 'Ordinary People', 'Save Room' and 'Heaven' – all backed by a ten-piece band. John Legend's album, 'Get Lifted' earned himan astounding eight Grammy nominations and saw him take home Best New Artist, Best Male R&B Vocal Performance ('Ordinary People') and Best R&B album — while selling more than three million copies worldwide.

This will be Legend's third visit but it is the first for 27-year-old Hilson, who is jetting in as Legend's supporting act.

"JL tour to South Africa has been officially announced," Legend wrote on his Twitter page." I can't wait to go back to South Africa. I love playing there. Some of my best fans in the world. Truly."

Hilson is expected to give South Africans a taste of her debut album, In a Perfect World, released in March and featuring US musos Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Timberland and Ne-Yo.

Her album debuted at No 4 on the Billboard 200 and No1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.

Hilson tweeted this week. "South Africa fans: Word has it that Keri will be touring with John Legend this fall and Keri's hustle never stops, it's all true."

" We have had the great honor to bring to South African music lovers some of the biggest artists in the past and we strive to keep hosting unparalleled concerts that truly could only be Heineken", said Franco Maria Maggi, Marketing Manager of Heineken in South Africa.
