1 I have travelled the world and I have not had a pizza that is as good as Borruso's in Kenilworth! They are not shy with their toppings, and the price is reasonable. best pizza ever! the service is great as well that's why I keep goig back.

2 Yes yes yes! Finally got round to going to Borruso's and had an amazing time. Service and meal were excellent and I feel like going back tonight.

3 I don't know what is wrong with all of you! I have been going to Borruso's for years and am still a frequent visitor. I don't think I've ever been to a place quite like it. The best food, service, atmosphere... Everything is great! I think the dust and add's to the lovely authentic feel, as do the pictures on the walls and the old tins all over:) If you're looking for clean lines and fancy cuisine you're at the wrong place, here they're all about being real whether it's with their food OR service, it's all really really really really fantastic!

4 I am an avid reader of Food24, and have to add my comments to Andrew's review. Although the food (we only ordered pizzas) is good, the place really needs a clean-up. We sat near the kitchen and I too have noticed the clutter and disarray. I believe the place is always busy, but they need to take out a day to sort out some issues. Will be back sometime in the near future to see if there have been any changes made.

5 Service was not what I expected having the place recommended to me, the food was good but I thought the place has evolved from cosy to cluttered and dirty. My personal rating is 3/10.

6 Well after waiting for what seemed forever the other night to get a seat we waited even longer for our food. It seemed like the take aways were getting first choice over the sit down customers. The place was kinda dirty and the food was alright. Nothing spectacular. I heard the one in Rondebosch is better. Will definately give that one a bash next time cos they're not going to see me here again.

7 Well, I was there a few months ago and what I can remember the pizza was quite nice.. I actually kinda like the pizza being served on the wooden board - so authentic Italian which is really cool! I had the salmon pizza and although I doesn't compare to Col'cocchios (when it comes to that place, I'm very one-sided - I LOVE IT!) it comes a close second. Waitress was really friendly and my boyfried admired how beautiful she was so yep, good time! :-)

9 The dust lies in layers and the kitchen does not look like it gets cleaned at all. I will never go back it is unhygienic and those wooden boards that the people eat on is also not that hygienic.
