A R5000 bursary from INTEC College is the prize for one young person who is making a difference for the better.

Do you know a young person who has made a significant contribution to his or her community? Someone, perhaps, who is an inspiration to other youths? Maybe you know a teen who started a service or organisation to meet a need that existed in his or her school or neighbourhood. If so, provide us with the person's name and contact details, using the nomination box below. Please restrict your comments to 500 words or less. Reader's Digest will select the most worthy individuals from the list of nominations received. The winner of the Youth Volunteer Award 2007 will receive a R5000 bursary from INTEC College – while three runners-up will each receive R2000 bursaries – for distance learning. Our Youth Volunteer of the Year will be featured in a future issue of Reader's Digest.
