Sometimes dropping out of school is the best way to go. Just ask Tracey Morgan.
He says: "I'm glad I dropped out of high school, man. I wouldn't be where I'm at. I would have had a net. I'm glad I didn't have anything to fall back on, man, because that made me go for my dreams that much harder." Personally, I wouldn’t advise anyone to go through life without a safety net.

Hillary Swank has admitted that she is not proud of her choice to drop out of high school and that an education is important. This would probably explain why she was criticized for the teacher’s role she portrayed in the film, Freedom Writers. Hilary’s report cards always said things like, "She is a jabber mouth”, which deterred her from continuing with school. Thanks to that chatterbox mouth of hers, she is now an Oscar winner and one of Hollywood’s most respected actresses.

Al Pacino, at age 17 decided that academics were a bore and dropped out of an acting program at the High School of the Performing Arts in New York City. He had failed every class except English, so he dropped out to find his own way into an acting career. He hasn’t looked back since.
