On November 29, 1981 Natalie Wood's body was found floating on the coast of the Catalina Islands over a kilometre away from her yacht. It was concluded that the intoxicated actress had slipped while attempting to access the yacht's dinghy and that her heavy wool coat contributed to her drowning. Questions were raised about how she died. Apparently, Natalie was frightened of water and could not swim , so why would she want to hop on a dinghy? Did she slip or was she pushed?
