Fashion blogger Robyn Cooke, knows that festival season is fast approaching. And what you wear is about as critical as which bands you go and see. Here are her five recommended wardrobe pieces.
First on your list is a hat. It is an essential item. A tassel beanie keeps you warm and helps you keep your cool. No festival look is complete without something on your noggin. I quite like a wide brimmed 70s style hat myself.
Then you sort out your feet. There are only two options for footwear – and both are boots.

You can either go for a pair of wellington boots.
You could also opt for a pair of cool suede ankle boots with a block heel. Like Kate Bosworth. And Diane Kruger. You know, all the cool girls.
Next, pick up a cross-body bag. It should be big enough to store your iPad or camera and a bottle of water. And it should be small enough not to get in your way. You want both your hands free for dancing, of course.
The fourth essential is a pair of denim shorts. This is a festival standard. Pair with tights if the weather is cold.
Finally you need to pop on a checked shirt or a denim shirt. Take both with you. One for each day of the festival. Don’t do all the buttons up. If it’s hot, wear your bikini top underneath.
