There's something regal and very Kate Middleton about it. The second this model stepped onto the ramp, I fell silent. Maybe it's the lace fabric that I'm drawn to. Or, it's quite simply how perfectly fitted and finished it is.
Either way, I was speechless when I saw it.

The soft yellow and light fabric worked wonderfully together. Also, the one-shoulder and see-through overlay took the dress from plain to pretty!

Philosophy
Yes, my favourite creation from Jenni Button's bright and bold Spring/Summer range was this "drab" beige one. Take note, however, that it wasn't the colour that caught my eye.
Instead, it was the romanticism of this frock that made me want to snatch it!

This look is one of the few that can actually be pulled off by mere mortals like you and I.
Beautiful, isn't it!

I told you about this design duo's Fairy Tale theme. Now, let me school you on their range:
Fucking amazeballs!

I know. Lace, again. But, obsessions aside, I think this combo of dark pink and black was really spectacular.

Gavin Rajah
This form-fitting Grecian-inspired gown truly captivated me. The earthy hue, the plunging neckline, the attention to detail, the cinched, curve-friendly waist and the flowiness. Sooo pretty!

Glam, right? And all along you thought white was unflattering and fattening...

The peplum waist. It's STILL hot my fellow fashionistas!

I can totally picture myself wearing this cute frock to a daytime beach party and then simply adding a bangle or two to my wrist for a night out on the town.
Versatile. Winning!

Habits
If you can, forget the intentional nipple-slip and take in the hotness of these jeans!
Precision, I tell you!

For some, this sheer bodice would probably be risque. But that is nothing a piece of lining can't fix.
-
David Tlale
I was disappointed by Tlale. Maybe my expectations of him were unfairly high, but I really thought his range would blow me away. It didn't.
In all honesty, this top was my only favourite.

Hip Hop
This evening gown reminds me of the dress Rose wore on the night the Titanic sank.
Aaargh! I could slap myself for missing this show.

Lalesso
My colleague Jana and I agreed: Their collection was probably the best. And most summery of the lot. I liked this piece in particular for its vibrant colour and pattern.
-
Ruff Tung
Call me crazy, but I really think this (possibly outrageous) peplum waisted top and mermaid-style skirt pair well together.
-

I'm so over the whole hipster vintage look that continues to infiltrate our clothing stores. But, while I can't picture myself wearing it, I do like what I see here.
-
Tart
Aaah, I must, must, must get this!
It's sooo versatile: Team it up with formal pants and rock it at the office; or lose your bottoms altogether (hmmm, like the sound of that, do you?), add some bling and you're ready to paint the town red!
-
Thula Sindi
A sheer bodice that DOES NOT look tacky... this is rare, folks! And, just look how eye-catching this high-waisted tie-dye skirt is. LOVE!

You know how they say that every wardrobe should include at least one LBD? Well, I think a shift dress should be added to the must-have list too.
Especially if you can find one as sassy as this bateau (or boat) neckline frock with cut-out lace detail on the side.
