My mom has had a number of operations, the latest was brain surgery. She is not able to do as much as she used to (and this annoys her) but her main concern still is her kids... she will tell me to take a break as I am working too hard.

My mother has always been a pillar of strength &nadsh; not just to myself & my siblings – but I think to our community at large. And as is evident from the pic, she is the epitome of beauty & grace and a very strong-willed, determined, no-nonsense woman.
She is the driving force behind our immediate & extended families. She has gained the respect, love & admiration of our family, friends & her colleagues as well as the community.

This is not a pic of me and my Mom, but of my Mom and our twin girls playing and she rocks because she is always available to help! She will leave everything at the drop of a hat to rescue us when the nanny doesn't arrive or hubby/I are sick or drop off/fetch our little boy from school. She also cooks lunch most Sundays... Oh, and she is sending me for a facial and massage this weekend while she looks after the little ones.

I have the most wonderful mom, she's always putting others first even when she herself needs the help or encouragement, no matter how tired she is or what kind of terrible day shes had, you can always count on her for advise, love and a helping supportive hand.
My mom works for an NPO where she helps woman raise money to look after their children instead of going for an abortion. She's a great person and is my inspiration.

I think my mom is the best as she has always stuck by my side and fought for me no matter how difficult I was and am. She has always put her kids before herself. We have been through a lot as a family but her love has remained unchanged. She will make sure that our needs are seen to before her own.

My mommy is amazing. She wakes up every morning with a smile and makes us breakfast. We do lots of fun things every day and in the evening she tucks us into bed and reads us a story.
