Anne Hathaway: 2013-2007
She’s such a sweet girl, but damn, both these dresses do nothing for her. A few tweaks could’ve solved her problems though. Remove the big black bow, and voila, you have a gorgeous strapless gown with no distracting elements. Change the colour and fabric of her most recent gown, and you’re left with a plain, but elegant design.

Charlize Theron: 2013 -2000
Onse Charlize really dazzled back in 2000. I wasn’t a fan of her hair, though. It looked a bit dry and thin… This year, however, her hair stole the show. I can’t think of any other actress that would look this good with such short hair. The dress wasn’t bad, either, but nothing compared to 13 years ago.

Halle Berry: 2013 -2002
Halle has never been shy to show some skin, and she was definitely a sight to behold in 2002. It was something different, that’s for sure.. and I wasn’t a big fan. This year I was also in two minds. I don’t really like the stripes or the hectic shoulder pads…but at least she kept it reasonably classy this time.

Jennifer Garner: 2013 – 2004
No one ever looks good in shiny orange fabric. Not even gorgeous Jenn in 2004. Luckliy she stepped it up this year. Well, sort of. The colour is gorgeous, that necklace was spectacular… but there’s a down side.
Have a look at the back of her dress...it really didn’t work, at all!

Jennifer Hudson: 2013 – 2007
She's always been gorgeous, but after shedding a few pounds her fashion choices have become bolder. Although Miss H won the Oscar in 2007, her dress didn’t really do much for her. This year, however, she looked super stunning! From the long sleeves to her sleek hair… we loved it all.

Meryl Streep: 2013 – 2006
This lady is such a legend, that I can hardly fault anything she does. But, that hectic plunging neckline in 2006 may have been a tad too low… This year, she’s covered up a bit more and added some sparkle. Simply stunning.

Nicole Kidman: 2013 – 2000
Ai, Nicole. You really shouldn’t do shiny fabric. Although I love the design and cut of her dress this year, I really wish it wasn’t so damn slimy looking. And the 2000 dress? It didn't look good then, and it doesn't look good now.

Salma hayek 2013- 2005
This year Salma decided to cover up her puppies… but somehow managed to make her neck disappear. Not a good look. A few years back, however, she got it spot on in that deep blue gown with a plunging neckline – use what you have Salma!

Sandra Bullock: 2013-2004
Seriously, what was she thinking back in 2004 in this white feathery gown? No no no! This year however, she looked spectacular! Everything about her dress just works perfectly, and she looks like a true fashionista.

Zoe Saldana: 2013 - 2010Although I didn’t love her slightly strange dress this year (that belt is so random!), it can’t compare to the hideous purple get-up that she wore three years ago. Improvement, yes.
Best dressed worthy? Definitely not.
