Sfiso and I met in 1997 when we first got together as partners in dance. It was during this time that we become so close, that we ended up dating.

Due to work commitments, he eventually ended up moving to Gauteng. However, we did make sure that we spent every little time that we had, together.

On the 20 September 2008 I attended a dance competition in Gauteng. While busy fixing a dress I was set to wear at the gig, Sfiso came up to me with a cone of thread. He asked me whether or not I liked the colour of the thread and told me to turn the cone.

Inside of the cone, was the most beautiful ring that I've ever set my eyes on.

He knelt down on his knee and said: “Would you like to be Mrs Sfiso Ncama?” I was left speechless, and could only nod in response.

December 2011, we decided to set the date for our wedding. We quickly discovered that planning a wedding was no easy work, but with support from both our families (who were extremely excited), we managed to get everything done.

Everyone had a task to do and in that way, we managed to minimize the cost as we had a very tight budget and had to cute the traditional wedding.
My aunts prepared the food and my cousin was responsible for the décor.

We got married on the 27 December 2011.
Before the wedding everyone kept telling me that “ You are going to cry, because all brides cry”, but I said to myself “I love the man I am going to marry so why on earth will I cry?"

We had a perfect day filled with love and laughter and heartfelt performances from my Husband's brother, who left everyone teary after he entertained the guests with his musical items.

Our wedding was a huge success and I will cherish all the memories of our wedding day and the love that my husband and I have for each other was automatically shown that day.

I wouldn’t trade our day for anything else.
