To my surprise he made me smile more than I ever thought he could. We chatted day and night via phone, SMS and email.

The only problem that we faced was that I lived in Cape Town and he was sitting 1400km's away from me in Johannesburg. But, in spite of this, 3 weeks later he hopped onto a plane to come and meet me.

Finally the time had come and I saw him come around the corner at the Waterfront. I didn't get the butterflies that I was expecting which disappointed me.
We sat down and had a cup of coffee and walked around and luckily for us it was the World Cup draw and all the parties were happening in Long street in town.

We ended up spending 10 days together, and much to the surprise of my family and I, we decided to get married.
We got engaged 3 months after meeting each other and 10 months later I was married to a handsome, honest, loyal, humorous, kind, caring, loving, intelligent and heart-warming man who will do absolutely anything and everything for me.
