My cousin's girlfriend still joked and asked me if he was going to propose. Her words had not even left her mouth when Gary, shortly after 00h00 on 24 September 2010, was on one knee, ring in hand, in front of my entire family. I think it took me about 5 minutes to answer as I was so overwhelmed with what was happening, but eventually, I said yes.
