If you’re planning a spring/summer wedding this year, it’s the perfect time to visit some of the hottest bridal trends for 2010. Here’s a few of my favourites spotted straight off the international runways.

Gowns evoke a delicate embellishment of flower detailing on the bodice, skirt and veils.
Lace is the new silk this season! Precious Chantilly lace embossed with sparkly crystals look incredibly romantic – a huge trend for 2010! Most collections had a touch of glam with sparkly brooches or encrusted bodices.
Hints of black make a cinematic statement, showing up as a sash, flowers or a pair of gloves as seen in Vera Wang’s collection.
High-low hemlines are in and the mini dress puts a spring in your step - the perfect trend for an unconventional bride! Just make sure you have the show-stopper heels to match!
Ditch the strapless for an asymmetrical neckline and you will be right on trend. Make a statement and choose one adorned with a bow or some sparkle!
Go for a fitted bodice that is cinched at the waist to create the illusion of the perfect hour glass shape. Achieve this look with a corset style bodice or the ribbon and bow detailed waistline.
I’ve saved the best for last! Feathers feature high on my best list and where all over the runway this season!
