"I cannot wait to start [with my Miss SA duties]," said Flint. "My biggest challenge is going to work for the Fifa 2010 World Cup by continuing with what I had already started through the station (Jacaranda FM) building RDP houses and ensuring that the crime comes down."
Flint is completing a journalism diploma through the Tshwane University of Technology. Her goal is to become an accomplished TV presenter and news anchor.
Performances by musicians Jesse Clegg, Chris Chameleon and Loyiso Bala added entertainment to the glamorous evening, which featured gorgeous evening gown from David Tlale and Kluk CGDT. Dax Martin designed the swimwear for the finalists - metallic blue bikinis.
With an in-house audience of 3750, Miss South Africa was broadcast live on SABC3 to an audience of more than four million people. The show was hosted by former Miss South Africa and Top Billing host Joanne Strauss and Metro FM's Penny Lebyane.
