When I heard about the trend which had women eagerly ‘beautifying’ their vaginas with faux fox fur, I burst out laughing. Because, can somebody please tell me, how this is pretty and/or sexy?

...to something possibly worse: A skin-whitening shower gel that, according to Mail Online, is “unique,” as it keeps the skin “fresh and protected from infection all day” with the added bonus that it will “brighten darkened skin in that area, making it many shades fairer.”

Forget the risk of infection and uneven results. Do it, quite simply, to get ahead in your career (huh?) or to please the man in your life, who, as the below Indian commercial suggests, will be much more interested in you sexually, if you’re ladybits are lighter.

Seriously?! As if there isn’t enough issues around skin and colour...
