You've got a niggling suspicion that your man is cheating on you, but you're not sure, and you don't want to rock the boat unnecessarily. Well, here are some classic cheater moves that could help you find the answer:
He gets nervous when the phone rings. When he answers
it, he speaks softly or walks out of the room every single time he takes a call.
He works late unusually often, including on weekends, and finds reasons to stay away overnight.
He gets nasty or defensive when you casually ask him when he'll be home or what he's doing.
He suddenly starts leaving his cellphone on voice-mail all the time.
He heads for the shower or brushes his teeth the minute he enters the house.
He isn't where he says he's going to be.
He starts criticising you.
He seems distant from you, preoccupied and stops being
affectionate.
Remember, these are just general signs that could mean your suspicions are correct. There is no way to be 100 percent sure (besides catching him in the act). So if your suspicion is causing you a lot of grief, it's best to confront him and take it from there.
What about the home-wrecker?
It takes two to tango... here's how to spot a potential relationship-wrecker:
In mixed company she focuses all her attention on
the men.
She stands closer and invades the man's personal space.
She makes overt eye contact with the man and excludes
everything and everyone (especially you).
She tells you how cute, attractive and sexy your man is.
She makes excuses to see your man without you in the
name of friendship, or she continually needs his help fixing broken appliances.
A good test: when you feel unusually uncomfortable in her company, this is a sign she needs to go! Confront her, tell her she's hitting on your man and she should lay off!
When you find yourself in the company of a woman like this, head for the hills, with your man. Don't stick around to see if your instincts were right, you may just be sorry.
