QUESTION

Hi,

I met this guy and we spoke for months and things got more serious, we decided to start meeting up and had great times. He told me he had fallen for me and he would make the effort to see me as he works away in the navy. He sends text messages and calls all the same but never makes plans. When I bring it up he avoids it. I have a gut feeling he likes the idea of me more than he likes me. As when I like someone, I want to see them. I used to be strong and wouldn't take this from a man but I can't seem to walk away or even not reply to a text. I guess I wanted this to work so badly. I have had the serious conversation with him where he has said nothing has changed and he will make the effort but still nothing. I'm really hurt as he made it out like we were made for each other. How do I break this up and stop the emotional cycle I am going through?
